City Council Postpones Ballot Questions On Pot

(Colorado Springs, CO) -- The Colorado Springs voter will not be deciding on recreational pot in November. The City Council voted to delay the discussion yesterday. The decision was made due to the cost associated with putting it on the November ballot. It's expected the council will consider the issue later this year and may put it on the ballot next April. It would have cost the city hundreds of thousands of dollars to put it to a vote in November. To get it on the April ballot, the measure would have to be finalized early next year. The City Council banned the sale of recreational pot in Colorado Springs last year.
