(Colorado Springs, CO) -- The Colorado Springs Fire Department will be taking part in a special drill this weekend. It's part of a statewide effort to test the logistics of getting 30 fire units from a number of departments to one location within 90 minutes. Crews will be testing operation "Broken Arrow" tomorrow in Castle Rock. Fire Chief Chris Riley says it's in response to recent devastating wildfires in the state. Another drill will be done later this month. Riley says figuring out how to get critical resources in place to battle wildfires will benefit the entire state.
