(Denver, CO) -- State lawmakers want to build a smartphone app to promote Colorado business. A bill passed through a House committee yesterday that would allow a state agency to contract out to build the app. It would allow users to search for products offered by businesses that are located, owned or headquartered in the state. The bill is backed by Pueblo lawmaker Leroy Garcia. It now moves over to the Appropriations Committee.
