(Colorado Springs, CO) -- The new VA clinic in Colorado Springs is set to open today. The facility at West Fillmore Street and Centennial Boulevard on the city's west side will consolidate services for veterans. It officially opens at 7:30 a.m. Previously, veterans had to go to different area locations for different needs. Two clinics shut down last week in the Colorado Springs area ahead of today's opening to help with the move. CAT scans and MRIs will be able to be done in the new building, so veterans will no longer have to go to Denver for radiology services.
