(Pueblo, CO) -- The future of same-sex marriage in Pueblo County is under the microscope. County Clerk Gilbert "Bo" Ortiz tells the "Pueblo Chieftain" he's taking a look at Friday's ruling by the Colorado Supreme Court that issued in an injunction to stop Denver County from issuing same-sex licenses. Adams County was also named, but had not started giving out the permits. Pueblo County has been issuing them since earlier this month following a key decision by the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, which was also stayed pending an appeal. Friday's ruling by the state's highest court did not address licenses for gay marriage licenses in Pueblo and Boulder counties. Attorney General John Suthers had called for a statewide injunction while the issue plays out in court.
