Grand Junction TV station flames to black

Fire officials in Grand Junction say a TV station was destroyed by fire Sunday morning, with damage estimated in the millions.   There were no injuries.  

The blaze forced KREX off the air.   The station was both a FOX and CBS affiliate, so area residents were forced to look elsewhere to watch Sunday's NFL Championships.

Authorities said a few employees were inside the building at the time, but apparently they didn't know it was on fire until they were called by a neighbor.   All got out safely.

As of late Sunday night there was still no word on a possible cause.
