ICE's Deportation Efforts Continue Amid Protests

RSS Feed

Jonathan Fahey, former federal prosecutor and acting director of U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), discusses the ongoing protests against ICE operations across the country. Fahey explains that the protests, which he describes as a "conspiracy" to impede ICE's lawful enforcement activities, are politically motivated to keep illegal immigrants in the country. He highlights specific incidents, such as the one in Frederick, Maryland, where protesters disrupted ICE operations aimed at apprehending criminals, including child predators and murderers. Fahey emphasizes that ICE targets serious criminals and not random individuals. He also criticizes local and state politicians for obstructing ICE's lawful actions, citing examples from Minneapolis where local authorities allegedly supported the protesters. Despite the success of ICE's enforcement efforts, which have led to a significant reduction in crime rates and an increase in wages, particularly for blue-collar workers, Fahey believes the positive outcomes of these policies are overshadowed by the Democratic narrative aided by mainstream media. He concludes by urging Republicans to promote these successes to counter the negative narrative surrounding ICE.
