As marijuana become more accessible and its use more widely accepted, it’s crucial for parents and caregivers to understand how it can affect young people. This session will explore the shirt- and long-term impacts of marijuana use on the developing brain, mental health, learning, and behavior. We’ll discuss current research, common myths, and signs of use to watch for. Participants will also gain strategies for talking with youth about marijuana in honest, non-judgmental ways that encourage healthy choices and open communication.
