I love how the Lord employed unlikely people to do extraordinary things.

God, in His faithfulness, walks through the wilderness with us.

Trouble will come, but so will refuge for those have set their hearts on Christ.

For Paul, peace was a real and enduring reality in his life, despite his pain.

God allows things to happen in life that don’t make sense to us… but they do make sense to Him.

I made a decision years ago not to let bitterness consume me. Some days, it’s hard… really hard. Some days, it’s a challenge to remember the forgiveness He pours out on me, the forgiveness I’m expected to give others. But it’s the right way, the best way, the only way.

Hebrews 4:12 reminds us that the Bible is living and active, reaching the hidden places of our hearts. Are you letting God’s Word search and renew you today?

The thing that God was trying to communicate was that He wanted our dependence to be on Him.

There is a word in the Bible that I’m so glad is there. I’ve come back to it again and again over the years. I have said many times, “Yeah! That’s the word for it. That’s what I’m feeling right now.”

Like physical fruit needs time to grow, the fruit of the Spirit will not ripen in our lives overnight.
