Rest in Peace is a powerful Rock/Pop ballad about the passing of a young girl, but could be applied to anyone close to you. The song takes you on a spiritual journey though the various emotions we experience when losing a loved one: devastation, sorrow, grief, anguish, and finally comfort.... comfort in knowing that we will one day see our loved ones again. I was given a brief to write a song called Mary and Joseph for the United Reformed Church branch in Dulwich London (UK). I was then sworn to secrecy until the live performance of this song as part of the Nativity play Christmas 2011. It was so well received I decided to add it to God Tube with the lyrics, hope you enjoy it!
