This recording is important because it is sung in the setting the song originally came from and in much the same manner. I was actually present the first time this song was ever made public. It was at a service at Kristent Felleskap Bergen when its meeting-place was still in Møllendalsbakken, and Anne was still 'Farestveit' and not yet 'Erlendsen' as well. Since then it has gradually begun to be sung by a large number of different churches, and there is a reason for that.
