The Presbyterian Church has a long history of singing the psalms in worship. In this hymn, Mr. Joseph Waggoner and Pastor MacLaren sing a hymn based on Psalm 45, singing of the glory of our Messianic King Jesus. The tune has some gorgeous harmonies arranged by Sir Arthur S. Sullivan of Gilbert and Sullivan fame. This hymn was sung at First Presbyterian Church in Perkasie, PA, during the Sunday Worship Service of January 9, 2011. Rev. Richard Scott MacLaren is the pastor.
