Moeder Maria kreeg van God de zware taak om Zijn Zoon op de wereld te brengen. Ondanks dat ze wist dat ze zou worden verstoten door de gemeenschap en dat ze problemen zou krijgen met haar verloofde Jozef, vertrouwde ze op God en zei:` De Heer wil ik dienen en laat mij gebeuren wat U hebt gezegd`. Wat een vertrouwen!! Ze is een voorbeeld voor ons en voor mij de geloofsheld.

Mary Mother of God was given the onerous task of bringing His Son into the world. Although she knew she would be ostracized by the community and that they would have problems with her fiancé, Joseph, she trusted God and said, "The Lord I serve, and let it happen to me, according to Your will". What a confidence! She is an example to us and for me the religious hero.
