The so-called D.C. Advisory Neighborhood Commission is backing a petition that seeks to pull Trump International Hotel’s liquor license – citing a D.C. law that only individuals of “good character” qualify for a liquor license.

A group of anti-Trump D.C. residents filed the petition, claiming the President does not meet that standard. It turns out the commission does not even represent the area where the hotel is located.

But, the group says the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration can receive a complaint from any civic group against a licensee.
