Obama Administration Allegedly Gave Iran Access to US Financial System

According to a report from the Senate’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, the Obama administration granted a license giving Iran access to the U.S. financial system.

Fox News reports despite the testimony from officials to Congress that Iran wouldn’t have access, the Treasury Department issued a specific license” to an Iranian bank in order to convert Iranian money into euros.  

Subcommittee chairman, Republican Sen. Rob Portman said the Obama administration mislead the American people in giving access in order to push through the Iran Nuclear Deal.

He added, “I think they did so because they were desperate to get a deal.”
