An Australian self-proclaimed ‘sexuality expert’ and author is facing mass ridicule after suggesting babies should “give consent” to having their diapers changed by their parents.

Breitbart reports Deanne Carson, while speaking on ABC News in Australia, said parents should set up a “culture of consent in their homes” and ask their baby “I’m going to change your nappy now, is that ok?”

She claims parents can seek the consent through the baby’s body language and eye contact. Social media has roundly mocked her and her so-called “expertise” on the subject.

She also failed to say what should happen if said baby refuses “consent” to having their diaper changed.
