In a groundbreaking new report released by Anthropic, the AI provider released its findings that a Chinese state-sponsored group utilized the company’s AI coding tool Claude Code Agentic AI to orchestrate complex tasks at scale with minimal human intervention. The group bypassed Claude Code’s extensive guardrails and, with alarming speed and efficiency, orchestrated an array of seemingly benign small compute tasks that, in aggregate, could be used for malicious purposes.
